How much does Just Eat charge restaurants?

Just Eat charges about 14% plus 50p on each order you deliver yourself, so a £25 order costs you around £4 before VAT. A rowbo site takes the order for you instead. The card payment goes straight to your own bank, and the monthly fee is from £50, with a little on each card payment.

Just Eat is about 14% plus 50p an order when you deliver it yourself (Restaurant Hero, 2026). On a £25 order that is about £4. The commission is charged before VAT, so add 20% on top.

Your card cost is Stripe’s UK rate of 1.5% + 20p, plus our 1%. That is 2.5% + 20p all in on a UK consumer card. On a £25 card order it comes to about £0.83, and you keep £24.17. A business or commercial card costs more, 3.8% + 20p. The monthly fee is from £50, set up with you. Stripe UK pricing checked 3 October 2026; the all-in rate is derived in AGENCY-DEP-20.

What you get with your own site

We turn your Google listing into a website with your menu on it, ready for you to check. Customers order for collection or from your own drivers, and pay by card into your own Stripe account. The order prints in the kitchen and arrives in your inbox. Cash orders are fine, and nothing ties you in.

Questions owners ask.

Is Just Eat’s 14% really the whole cost?
Just Eat’s 14% is before VAT, and there is a 50p charge on every order on top (Restaurant Hero, 2026). On your own rowbo site you pay neither. The order comes straight to you.
Will I lose my regulars?
Your regulars are the ones most likely to order direct once they can, because they already know you. Put your own web address on the menu and the receipts. They order from you, and you keep the lot.
What do I need in the kitchen?
A Star CloudPRNT printer, which the shop buys once, and we pair it with your site. After that, every order prints in the kitchen on its own. You do not need the apps’ tablet.
