How much does Deliveroo charge restaurants?
Deliveroo’s commission runs from 25% to 35% of each order, depending on the plan you are on. That is between £6.25 and £8.75 on a £25 order, before VAT. With a rowbo site people order from you directly. The card money goes to your own bank, and you pay from £50 a month plus a little on each card payment.

Deliveroo’s commission runs from 25% to 35% of each order, depending on the plan (Restaurant Hero, 2026). On a £25 order that is £6.25 to £8.75. The figure is charged before VAT, so add 20% on top.
Your card cost is Stripe’s UK rate of 1.5% + 20p, plus our 1%. That is 2.5% + 20p all in on a UK consumer card. On a £25 card order it comes to about £0.83, and you keep £24.17. What you get with your own site
Your site comes off your Google listing, so your menu, your hours and your photos are already on it. People order from you for collection or from your own drivers. The money goes straight into your own Stripe account, in your name, and the order prints in the kitchen. You pay monthly and can stop whenever you want.

- Why does the rate vary so much?
- Deliveroo’s commission depends on the plan a shop is on, which is why it is quoted as a band from 25% to 35%. Whichever plan you are on, a direct order on your own site pays none of it. You keep the delivery too, if you have your own drivers.
- Can I still use my own drivers?
- Yes, your site takes the order and the payment, and your drivers deliver it the way they do now. We do not run the delivery. The van, and the round, stay yours.
- Is there a contract?
- No, you pay monthly and can stop whenever you like, and your domain and photos stay yours. The first site comes off your Google listing. You check it before a single order comes in.
