This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for rowbo.dev (operated by Tom Rowbotham & Phoebe Tan, London, United Kingdom). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Go Live is a £30/month subscription (building and publishing your site, plus hosting, updates and support). There is no setup fee. The subscription is cancellable at any time — from your site editor (Billing) or by emailing tom@rowbo.dev — and cancellation stops future renewals. Your site stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for. Monthly fees already paid for the current period are generally non-refundable, but we will always look at individual circumstances fairly.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a services contract bought at a distance. Because your site is built and published immediately, by ticking the consent box at checkout you request that we begin that service right away. As a goodwill matter, if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and let us know, we will refund that first month. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
If a subscription payment fails, we allow a grace period of around 14 days for you to update your payment details before your site may be suspended. We will let you know if a payment has failed.
After you cancel, we retain your site data for up to 30 days in case you wish to reactivate, and then delete it (except records we are legally required to keep, such as billing records). Your own content always remains yours to take elsewhere.
You can cancel your subscription yourself at any time from your site editor (Billing). To request a refund, email tom@rowbo.dev from the address on your account, telling us what you would like to cancel or refund. We aim to respond promptly and to treat every request fairly.
