An owner asking how old their website is usually means the domain. The registration date in the result above is the day it was first registered, so it is the honest measure of the site’s age. A long-registered domain is worth keeping when you move: it carries the history that a brand-new address starts without.
Domain expiry checker
The expiry date is when the domain next has to be renewed. This is the one to watch. A domain that lapses, often on an old card belonging to whoever set it up, is the most common way a working website disappears overnight.
