The commission you pay the platforms

Every sale through the platforms pays a commission. See roughly what that adds up to in a year, then build a site of your own so the sale is yours.

You’re handing Other platform about
£720/mo
= £8,640/yr in commission - money you could keep.

Drag your numbers to match your business. Every booking you take on your own site is a booking Other platform takes no cut of.

How we worked this out

  • 120 orders/bookings a month at £40 each
  • 15% platform commission recovered on direct sales
  • An estimate to show the scale, not a guarantee - real results depend on your business.

No card to start, and no contract, so you can leave any month.

How it works

  1. Type your business name

We build your first site from your Google photos, reviews and details. There are no forms to fill in.

  2. Get your own order link

Your site has a direct order or booking button, so the customer comes to you and not the platform.

  3. Keep it, or walk away

Look at it first, with no card. Keep it live only if it is right for you, and there is no contract to cancel.

Questions

Do I have to leave Uber Eats or Airbnb?
No. Most owners keep the platforms for reach and use their own site for the repeat, direct custom, the orders with no commission on top. You choose the balance.
What does my own site cost?
A website is from £30 a month. If you take orders and payments through it, that is from £50 a month, plus a little on each card payment. There is no setup fee and no contract.
Will my site actually take the order?
Your site has a direct order or booking button, so customers reach you without the middleman. For food, card payments go to your own Stripe account and the order prints in your kitchen.
