What the £30 covers
The website is the easy part to price. What owners get caught by is everything either side of it: the fee to start, the bill for moving the old site, the domain that turns out to be extra. Here is every line, with ours next to the three other ways of buying a website.

A DIY builder here is Wix, at the UK prices in our August research. A one off build is a freelancer or an agency: the build band is the one Fiverr publishes and the hourly figure is Upwork’s median, both in US dollars at the £1 to $1.27 rate, and the maintenance range is the UK typical. A pay monthly agency is the UK market in the same research, so Mojo, Inventis, Kitching, MonthlyWebDesign and Pixelish. Where the research records nothing, the cell says varies rather than a number we made up. Ours is £30 a month, billed monthly.
Is there a setup or migration fee?
No, and nothing to migrate either. The preview is free, the first month is £30 and every month after it is £30. We build from your Google listing rather than moving an old site across, so there is no migration to pay for. Work it back and £30 is one extra customer a week.
Do I pay for the domain?
No. A standard domain is part of the £30 and you pick it when you go live. It renews while you are subscribed, with nothing separate to pay for it. A few short, in-demand names are priced higher by the registry: if you want one of those we show you the yearly price first, you pay it once, and that domain is yours.
Can I bring my own domain?
Yes, and there's nothing to pay for it. Tell us the name and we point it at your new site. It stays registered wherever it is now, in your name.
What happens to my domain if I cancel?
You keep it. Tell us where you want it and we transfer it out while it is still active. The site comes down at the end of the month you have paid for, and your photos and your words come back with it. Nothing is held hostage.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes, if you'd prefer one invoice. Email us and we'll set it up.
Do changes cost extra?
No. Open the editor and change anything yourself, or tell the AI chat what you want and it does it. Email us instead if you'd rather we did it. There's no per-change fee, and that's the point of paying monthly.
