What a restaurant’s website costs in the UK
The menu, the hours, the photos: rowbo turns your Google listing into a website for £30 a month, on your own .com. Hosting and updates are in it, and there is no brief for you to write. The alternatives are a one off build, or an ordering platform that bundles a site. The table prices it, dated.
What you get for £30 a month
- A real multi-page website, built from the Google listing you already have.
- Your own .com, registered and pointed at it, in the price.
- Hosting and updates, so there is nothing else to renew and nothing to install.
- Your photos, your hours, your services and your reviews, already on the page.
- A site Google can index and ChatGPT can read.
- Live in a couple of minutes, and free to look at before you keep it.
- No setup fee, no minimum term, and you can cancel any month.

Some prices are listed in US dollars in our research, at the £1 to $1.27 rate. The DIY and agency prices are UK list prices, billed annually. Ours is £30 a month, billed monthly.
What the £30 covers after the build
With rowbo the £30 covers hosting, the domain, updates and the changes you ask for. Nothing renews separately, and nothing arrives as a bill you were not expecting. Everywhere else those are extra. Hosting and the domain renew each year, and website maintenance runs £25 to £100 a month. Monthly billing costs 16% to 28% more than annual at Wix, and Squarespace lists its UK prices without VAT. What moves the price for a restaurant
A couple deciding where to eat search Google, open a website and read the menu, which is the page all of this is about. A single page is a smaller job than a full menu with photos of every dish. A booking link, a menu you can update and food photography all add to a one off build. On a monthly plan the page count is rarely what you pay for. What you pay for is who does the work, and whether the domain and the hosting are in the price. With us they are, and the menu comes off your Google listing.
Questions owners ask.
How much does a restaurant website cost in the UK?
With rowbo it’s £30 a month, with the domain, hosting and updates in the price. A pay monthly agency starts at £19 a month, and a DIY builder runs up to £16 a month. A one off build is typically $500 to $5,000. Prices checked 12 August 2026.
Can I change the menu once the site is live?
Yes, tell us what changed and we change it, and that is in the monthly price. The first version comes off your Google listing, so the menu photos and the hours are already on the page. There is no editor to learn.
What are the ongoing costs of a restaurant website?
With rowbo there are none beyond the £30 a month: hosting, the domain and updates are all in it. Elsewhere hosting and the domain renew each year, and maintenance runs £25 to £100 a month if you pay for it. Prices checked 12 August 2026.
